One Acre Fund

One Acre Fund is a non-profit social enterprise that supplies smallholder farmers in East Africa with financing and training to help them grow their way out of hunger and poverty. In Rwanda, it operates under the name "Tubura." The organization is deeply field-facing, using a unique "market-based" model to provide seeds, fertilizer, and agricultural insurance on credit.
